Prerequisites

Description

When I close atom using command + W, the window closes. When I try to quit atom using command + Q, it doesn't quit. If I try to restart my mac it doesn't restart because atom doesn't quit at all.
The only thing that works is force quit. But I can't do it every time I want to quit atom or restart.
I did force quit atom multiple times on another and now it has a logic board problem. Obviously I can't say if my previous mac overworked to force quit atom and got the logic board problem and it happened because of atom, but now I'm apprehensive that it may cause some damage

Steps to Reproduce

  1. None, happens on its own

Expected behavior:

For atom to quit when I press command + Q

Actual behavior:

It doesn't quit. The mac doesn't restart

Reproduces how often:

Difficult to say because mac is always starts in the same state whether it's a restart or wake up from sleep, so can't really say if the atom closed last time, but I'd still put percentage around 50%
