Not completely, and not where prominence is needed, but for perhaps the majority of log messages. Something to think about, especially since Go makes it possible to swap-in and out drivers for various databases.

For example, this tool could at least theoretically be used to mirror a MySQL database to a PostgreSQL database, and either to SQLite.

Worth thinking about, but out of scope for early releases.
