Add some more troubleshooting checks to simple-asha #4

Since simple-asha is the test app for this feature, it would be nice to add some sanity checks for the bluetooth configuration.

My personal asha test implementation has a connect_test utility that demonstrates the sockopts and ioctls that can be used to verify the setup.
