GAIA-DR2 provides three magnitudes Gmag, GBmag and GRmag. They should be provided by the usual scheme for ASTREF-BAND (DEFAULT, BLUEST, REDDEST).

Unless there is a bug this is actually the case. You may also access them directly through their names G, BP or RP, see this codeline.

I specified GAIA-DR2 and BLUEST and got G. I will try using the filter name. SCAMP version is 2.7.8 (2020-03-26).
