Our minimum supported Python version is 3.10. You have 3.9.
I suggest you upgrade to 3.12.

I'm just a bit confused because, i do have 3.12:

Any ideas as to why ansible or AVD is picking up this version, can change a config file in AVD to fix this?

This is a RHEL box, and it does have 3 version, 3.9, 3.11, and 3.12.

Check ansible --version / which ansible.

Most probably ansible has been installed in python3.9.
Not sure if you have the 3 versions installed side by side but I would recommend using a python 3.12 virtual env and reinstalling ansible inside it to make sure you are using an ansible binary that uses python 3.12
