Retrieve logger configuration from Configuration

Right now, the Serilog Logger configuration is hard-coded in the code.
Wouldn't it be an idea to have the logger configuration part of the configuration, and retrieve the settings from the configuration ?

This can be done like this:

Host.CreateDefaultBuilder()
       .UseSerilog(ConfigureLogger);

...

private static void ConfigureLogger(HostBuilderContext context, LoggerConfiguration loggerConfiguration)
{
    loggerConfiguration.ReadFrom.Configuration(context.Configuration)
        .Enrich.FromLogContext()
        .WriteTo.Console();
}

and then, in your configuration you can have for instance these environment variables:

Serilog_MinimumLevel_Default = Information

Or, you can have this in your appsettings.json

{
  "Serilog": {
    "MinimumLevel": {
      "Default": "Information"
    }
  }
}
