Value conversion

Hello. Would it be possible to add a function that does the following:

I highlight a letter (e.g. x) then right-click on the highlighted letter.
In the context menu, you will then find "Value conversion". When I click on it, an inputbox pops up asking me for a value. I then give e.g. +10.5 and then all values (i.e. all x values) are added by the value 10.5. And if I enter -5.5, all x values are subtracted by 5.5?

I often use such a function when working in the quadroNC editor. Would be great if that would work here too.
