React and Vue projects only run on php dev server, fail on apache #69

Describe the bug

When running apache on 8001 any project created with React or Vue laravel/ui scaffolding gives a 404 error when tring to open any page

Steps to reproduce

  1. Create a project repository from this starter
  2. Change starter.ini to install React or Vue
  3. Create a new workspace
  4. Implement react or Vue depending on what you installed. See Additional infomration section
  5. open the index page in a browser

Simplest way to implement React for a project. Change resources/view/welcom.blade.php to:

Turns out the Laravel .env file was being injected with a url that was always port 8000. This explains why apache would serve the page properly if the php dev server was running in tandem.

I added an API in bash/helpers.sh to get the port number based on the value set for the default server in server.ini, invalid values will return an empty string.

I added verbose log messages for injecting the Larvel .env as that process was entirely silent.
