Private emails (in github, not sure about bitcuket or gitlab) or using git from the command line in gitpod may require some troubleshooting such as ammending the users email in ~/.gitconfig. Give the user some tips.

most likley private emails from github without opting out of the "Block command line pushes that expose my email" seeting will get this error when trying to push to remote from Gitpod. Either opt out or write in your private emaill addres(norepl@blahblah) to ~/.gitconfig for every worspace your create.

 ! [remote rejected] main -> main (push declined due to email privacy restrictions)
