Problem this feature will solve

Gitlog on its own is not robust enough. We need status for refacotring, adding libraries, etc..
Also:
Often all the unstaged changes need to be commited in groups, not all at once. for example 1 changed file and 1 new file. The new file needs to commit message prefic "NEW" while the changed file may need a status of "FIX"

Proposed Solution

  • Add additional status like REFACTOR, ADD, WIRE, COMMENT
  • add a seperate set of aliases that just set the commit message, no git add and no git push
