Inputfield Settings no default value when not saved

This seem to popup already multiple times as I figured in the forum...

Yet there's not fix or issue for this yet.

This doesn't work as a default, when the user doesn't save the field after setup. To fix, user have to open field again and save it to have the default setting saved to field.

At least that's what I guess is the issue.
