Getting Started

Prepare virtual machines

Prepare a set of virtual machines on your preferred virtualization platform (VirtualBox, libvirt)

Prepare for AWS

  1. First you need to have a virtualenv (just not to mess up your system)
$ virtualenv -p /usr/bin/python3 .env
$ source ./.env/bin/activate
$ pip install -r requirements.txt
  1. Set AWS_ACCESS_KEY_ID and AWS_SECRET_ACCESS_KEY environment variables
$ export AWS_ACCESS_KEY_ID=THISISNOTMYAWSACCESSKEY
$ export AWS_SECRET_ACCESS_KEY=THISISNOTMYAWSSECRETACCESSKEY
  1. Create a new stack
$ ./aws.py --route53-hosted-zone moodle.local --keypair 'my-aws-kp'

Please note that this will create a stack with the default configuration and inccur charges as it'll provision a bastion server.
