About the direction of PyMAPDL: Option 2 - PyMAPDL + PyMechanical
Keep the PyMAPDL as close as possible to MAPDL and use PyMechanical to build high-level functions.
I think this makes sense because Mechanical runs MAPDL under the hood. The API of Mechanical is, however, very chatty in my opinion.
But I guess PyMechanical should adapt this.
It really depends on the direction is given to PyMechanical.
