What is the expected behavior?

Implement Menu as in Angular Material(1)

What is the current behavior?

Currently not implemented in Angular Material 2

I need the Menu feature of Angular Material to be implemented for an application that I am working on. I would be interested in developing it- but I want to be sure that others are not already working, and if there are other things I need to know in regard to the development roadmap.

#119 it was supposed to be part of alpha.6, but since the one assigned to it is @kara and as far as I know she's working on angular2 forms right now, it might be postponed until later alphas.
