After installing WSL and downloading ubuntu, as described in "Getting ready" for windows users, the ubuntu terminal tells me that WSL is not enabled, even though it is.

Solved, with the help of microsoft/WSL#2982! I needed to go into the control panel -> uninstall programs -> Windows Featurs (on the left side of the window). Here the feature "Windows Subsystems for Linux" was enabled. I disabled it, rebooted, then enabled and rebooted again. Ubuntu now worked!
