Sudden error with embedded Gists

Suddenly started getting this warning:

The tag for your gist andavies/d734a17946f905b6f3fbed236531e011 could not
be generated. This will affect users who do not have
JavaScript available or enabled in their browsers.

I'm almost certain that there were no changes in the config, the gists, or the files containing the gists, before the warning showed up.

Also getting a

True

inserted before every Gist.

Seems to have gone away as mysteriously as it came. Perhaps somehow related to BT outages this morning - very slow connection speed.
