grype db update command has no spinner

What happened:
The command runs with no ui and then produces the message Vulnerability database updated!

What you expected to happen:
I expect the same progress bar UI to play as what happens during the same event when scanning

How to reproduce it (as minimally and precisely as possible):
Delete the database and run grype db update. Redelete the database and run grype dir:. and Grype will run the whole UI for the second but not the first
