Issue: HomePage: visual association between arrow and supported content is unclear.

homepage arrow to what

Steps:
1. Launch ChronoZoom (http://test.chronozoom.com/)
2. Go to HomePage

Actual result: alignment of arrows’ association to supported content is unclear. (see attached, “homepage arrow to what.png”)

Expected result: clear and intuitive visual association between (drop)arrow and supported content.

FWIW my two cents... I see two issues with the arrows:

  1. It isn't at all obvious that you have to click on the arrow to see the full list of content for that section. When I first looked at ChronoZoom, at first I didn't know the arrow was clickable, but I did try and click on the section title instead, which should also be clickable but isn't.
  2. The arrows are actually closer to the next section title on the right than their own section title, so could be misread as being links for a different section.

Good point about the arrows actually being closer to the next section.
Agree that section title should be clickable.

The arrow does have a roll over effect which helps to indicate it is clickable.
As I understand from past email chains, a replacement or overhaul of the front page is desired, but no final decision was made or when this could happen. So I suggest we finish that decision first to save time on further ideas/modifications to the current home page. Thanks!
