I think that you might be looking for an 'edit a list' pattern: alphagov/govuk-design-system-backlog#21

Since it's been a while since you raised this I'm going to close this out, but if this didnt resolve your issue please open another issue with more detail on what you're trying to do, why you can't do it etc. :)
