There's reason to believe that optics should be more of a first class citizen, rather than kept at a distance with projects like Monocle.

I guess I'm curious if @aloiscochard disagrees with this.

Also, I'm curious if further development is best done here. At what point would it make sense bring back as a branch on the Scalaz repository?
