We love Hypnonema on our server and we are amazed at how great the videos always look with youtube. We play a lot of Donut Media-- people seem to like that.

Expanding, we have been making some videos of notable things on the server and have compiled a film to show our community, but we can't seem to get an RTMP, HLS, or DASH stream to be recognized.

When we go to the status page, the counter will show 0:00 and act like it's playing (stop button) but nothing on the screen, no sound.

When we try an RTMP stream, it just says the URL is not permitted or whatever.... this is no surprise.

We like live streams because we can insert intermissions or music in between our live segments, but as expected, youtube can get a little overactive sometimes and will end a stream during silence with a copyright warning.... we need to do something better.

I guess I'd love to:

  1. Make sure you area alive and well
  2. Get a breadcrumb to help in our journey.

Currently we are using hypnonema with great success as a marquis at the movie theater. "Now Playing: TSlashRP" and videos with no other audio to get flagged are amazing to use as media on the screens. They. Look. Fantastic.

Thank you in advance.
