difference between injecting node globals vs using Alice SDK

Hi, Im currently working on a homebrew project of my own where i use react-native and web3js to make a rudimentary wallet app by using rn-nodeify and some adjustments to it (link). The app works somewhat decent as im not really a good coder myself on android but doesnt work on ios. I am looking how i can solve that problem. But Im just curious on what advantages we get if shift my wallet app to use Alice SDK? Thank you (code-repo)
