Synon Code of Conduct

The Synon project is committed to providing a friendly, safe, and welcoming environment for all contributors and participants, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, race, ethnicity, age, religion, or any other personal attribute.

Our Pledge

In the interest of fostering an open and inclusive community, we, as contributors and maintainers of the Synon project, pledge to respect all individuals who contribute or engage with the project, and to create a positive and harassment-free experience for everyone.

Expected Behavior

We expect all participants in the Synon project to:

  • Be respectful and considerate towards others.
  • Exercise empathy and kindness in all interactions.
  • Show appreciation for contributions from others, regardless of their experience level.
  • Use inclusive language and avoid offensive or derogatory comments.
  • Be open to constructive feedback and different perspectives.

Unacceptable Behavior

Unacceptable behaviors include, but are not limited to:

  • Harassment, intimidation, or discrimination in any form.
  • Offensive, derogatory, or hurtful comments or jokes.
  • Personal attacks or insults.
  • Trolling, flaming, or other disruptive behavior.
  • Unwelcome sexual advances or attention.
  • Any other conduct that violates the principle of respect and creates an uncomfortable or hostile environment.

Reporting and Enforcement

If you experience or witness any behavior that violates this Code of Conduct, please contact the project maintainers at [email address or contact method]. All reports will be kept confidential and will be reviewed and addressed promptly.

Participants who engage in behavior that violates the Code of Conduct may face temporary or permanent consequences, as determined by the project maintainers. These consequences may include warnings, temporary bans, or permanent bans from participation in the Synon project.

Scope

This Code of Conduct applies to all spaces associated with the Synon project, including but not limited to GitHub repositories, issue trackers, mailing lists, social media channels, and any other forums where individuals interact in relation to the project.
