Hello,

This module looks like the answer to my prayers, but I cannot find on archive.org where I would get a "user_agent" ID - which I assume is a permission token to access the API? On the Wayback Machine's own website it doesn't list a save page API at all, although that page hasn't been updated since 2013, and your PyPi says it was updated in 2022. I can only assume that yours is more up to date than theirs, but if so, how do I get the token? Or, if I have misunderstood what "user_agent" means, what is it?

Thank you,
Emily

User agent means simply a string that identifies your machine/script. You can set it yourself.

Examples:

  • "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:40.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/40.0"
  • "ResearchProjectUniversityX"
