AIP 81: NFT Marketplace Integration KPI incentives

Summary

• This AIP defines several KPI metrics to track delivery of AirSwap NFT community marketplaces
• A total of 275K $AST is requested over the next 6 months as KPI incentives
• KPI incentives are paid out only if the respective KPIs are met
• Deliver the MVP NFT marketplace to at least 2 NFT communities
• 83+ ETH swapped through these NFT marketplaces
• Koploseus will be the project manager for the NFT marketplace integrations

Specification

Koploseus proposes to be a project manager for AIP 54: Develop Reference NFT Marketplace for use by NFT Communities during the next 6 months. Koploseus will be responsible for providing timely updates and acting as the point-of-contact for any queries regarding the NFT community marketplace.

KPI metrics:

• Deliver MVP marketplace to at least 2 NFT communities by Mar 2023 - 75K $AST
• At least 83ETH in total volume swapped through the NFT marketplaces - 200K $AST

Total requested: 275K $AST

Upon successful delivery of these KPIs, the project manager (Koploseus) will raise a payout request from the Treasury showing proof of completion. The payout request must state the total amount requested, as well as the allocation among the various Contributor addresses.

AirSwap Ops will review the request and distribute the KPI incentives once satisfied that the KPIs are met. In case the KPIs are not met, the allocated $AST remain in the treasury, pending a new AIP to update the KPIs

Rationale

With various projects ongoing in AirSwap DAO, it is difficult to coordinate and prioritise resource allocation. A task force will be created to ensure timely delivery of the AirSwap NFT Marketplace, either via our own frontend, or our Smart Contracts to other NFT communities.

The main mission of the task force is to promote the adoption of AirSwap protocols within the NFT ecosystem and generate more revenue for the community. The KPIs will also help the DAO to keep track of project delivery and ensure that our Treasury is only spent upon successful delivery of each project.
