Copy doesn't seem to copy newline characters

When copying text from pdfs and pasting it, newline characters don't seem to get copied i.e. the text shows up as a single line. On version 2.0.0. Also, the --version flag doesn't seem to work on windows?

Not copying newlines was by design (it is usually what we want). For the rare case that we don't want that I added an add_newlines_when_copying_text config option in this commit in the development branch: da82f7d.
