Should deleting all elements relating to a state, automatically delete the state #3

For example:

  1. If I create a symbol with a text and rectangle
  2. Set up a state for text to be overriden
  3. I then decide to delete the text from the symbol
  4. The state still exists, even though it doesn't do anything anymore

but if you have a lot of overrides and removed 1 of them this will not affect the state, and it will ignore the missing and fill the others. what do you think ?

Yes that makes sense.

It's only if there are 0 elements now associated with the state, then you might as well delete it.
