Benefit

With ArcMap being retired from Esri, Motorola is retiring its system support to ArcMap and pushing every agency to upgrade to ArcPro.
With my involvement, I can

Acceptance Criteria

  • Shadow Motorola on the first 2 projects
  • Complete the upgrades within Motorola and the agencies' schedule

Notes

The tentative list of agencies that will be involved with the Pro upgrade projects is shown below:

ArcGIS Pro Migration (in order)
A full ArcGIS Pro Migration would be needed. The first two agencies we would go through as part of a traditional 5 week process. The remaining efforts could be streamlined to less time.

✅Logan PD, UT
✅Tooele County Sheriff, UT
✅Wasatch County Sheriff, UT
Layton PD, UT
(NEXT?) Weber 911, UT
Utah County Sheriff, UT
Washington County Sheriff, UT
Iron County ITS, UT
Kane County Sheriff, UT

GeoValidation Upgrade & ArcGIS Pro Migration
Motorola Solutions GIS Analyst would be more involved with these efforts to support the GeoValidaiton activation. The build of the ArcPro setup would be the same process as the above category.
*agencies that we are still confirming their current Address Validation platform (classic, sentryx, geovalidation)

Millard County Sheriff, UT
University of Utah PD, UT
Beaver County Sheriff, UT*
Emery County Sheriff, UT*
Summit County Sheriff, UT*
Sevier County Sheriff, UT*
Granite School District, UT*

Completed or Nearing Completion

✅Salt Lake Communications, UT
✅Price DPS Communications, UT
✅Uintah Basin, UT
➡️Box Elder County, UT
Grand County, UT

Risks

A lot of uncertainties in working with many entities within a short period. Motorola is having a major personnel reshuffle internally. The target schedule is aggressive which could lead to overpromising.

Working with Box Elder currently, trying to connect the FLEX server to the GIS server. After services have good connections, they will go into practice.
