While it is not a 'fix' for this issue, the immediate action that needs to happen to address this issue is to exclude the failing test case, hotspot/test/compiler/criticalnatives/argumentcorruption/Test8167409.sh on the aarch64 platform. This can be done by adding an exclusion statement in https://github.com/adoptium/aqa-tests/blob/master/openjdk/excludes/ProblemList_openjdk8.txt (likely just after Line 109).
