I wonder how hard it would be to implement a key that will take you to a second programmable grid that is at least three rows and ten columns. That would allow users to make their own keyboard on a second page.
Possibly a good short term fix, and might prevent a bunch of "please add Dvorak" type of requests if a full keyboard was added.
A good keyboard to use in combination with kboard is (FlorisBoard). You can configure it to have a "switch keyboard" key (it looks like an earth-wireframe) that works exactly the same way as the one in kboard. You can switch to kboard and back with one click. Not sure whether this is what you are looking for.
I use a multi language keyboard so for me to get to kboard-integration I have to go through my Japanese keyboards.
I'd love to be able to just stay in kboard for certain convos, but for that I need to be able to type.
