Updating the AAT and Framework without having to head over to CHUI would be great. It would be a super admin task of course but would still be easier (I think).

Is there currently an info page in the GUI that shows you current versions? If not it might be worth making one and having the upgrade option in there for admins.

I think this is a good idea for a new feature, but think we need to be able to track active users before something like this can be implemented (see #1616).

Still tracking this one. I think allowing update of the framework is reasonable, but not sure how feasible updating the server itself will be. We'll need to take into account the following:

  • Changes to node versions
  • Dependency updates
  • Server restarts
  • Data migrations
  • Active user sessions
