KWOK is basically a drop-in replacement for the virtual kubelet provider in SimKube. I was able to get KWOK and the cluster autoscaler KWOK cloud provider working with my KubeCon demo in an afternoon. I'm planning to put up a PR ripping out all of the sk-cloudprov and sk-vnode bits of SimKube and rely solely on KWOK for this functionality. |

SimKube now fully supports KWOK and has removed all virtual-kubelet dependencies. |

sk-vnode and sk-cloudprov are fairly primitive parts of the SimKube stack, especially when compared with something like KWOK. In the interest of not duplicating effort and having less to maintain in SimKube, I'd like to investigate what it would take to run on KWOK instead. This is a "tracking issue" for my findings in this investigation.
