Help with pre processing

Hello! I am new here and new to python programming. I am looking at the instructions on GitHub and am a little confused.

What do I need for preprocessing? If I understand correctly need a pre trained RAVE model as well as an audio data set. The audio data set makes sense. What is the pre trained RAVE model and where can I find it? Preprocessing is a prerequisite to training, correct?

Also, is preprocessing CPU intensive or can I run that on my machine? If I understand correctly, the training process is what gets heavy and should eventually be done via the Google colab site. Is this right?
