Grading should also work for custom grade items

I have added a custom "grade item" to reflect "extra credit". Now I would need to distribute this item's grading to all group members. However, the grade item is not listed under Activity in the Grading tab.

My workaround is to use an assignment activity instead.

This is Moodle 3.11.11, grouptool v3.11.0 2021051900 .

We already had a look on this issue.
At the moment the feature "works as designed" and the grouptool only can deal with grades of activities.
We plan to extend the function to manual grade items in the upcoming version.

Short status update: we will create some smaller plugins out of grouptool. This feature will be implemented as a gradereport plugin and be moved to "grades", so that you can use this function without an grouptool activity. As part of this, we are expanding the grading so that custom grade items will work too.
