Apple M1 - not able to build Oracle DB Docker images

Hello,

I've installed:

• Home-brew
• Docker
• Colima
  following these steps:

1. Install homebrew

• https://brew.sh/

2. Install Colima

• brew install colima

3. Install docker

• brew install docker

4. Start Colima by setting up x86_64 architecture

• colima start --memory 16 --arch x86_64

Now, I'm trying to build an Oracle DB image - 18.4 or 19.3 from here

But running buildDockerImage.sh script is hanging at a certain steps for more than 3600 seconds which isn't the way to work. Same script, same build works fine on LinuxMint, Ubuntu or even Amazon LinuxL:

Questions:

• there is a way to enable verbose.debug mode?
• can I connect to Colima VM and find out more in the logs? where these are stored?

I've tried to start Colima with different --disk values like 100 or even 200 (GB) but no luck

I suspect you are on M1 device. Emulation is not guaranteed to work for more complex docker images.
