When running a scan, I'm finding the Peripheral.id value is different on Mac OS than it is on Linux.
For the same device on Mac OS (Ventura), it returns a UUID value while on Linux (Debian 11) it returns a MAC address.
Is this a platform-specific issue?

This has been this way for a while - i don't think we can expect the IDs to be the same cross-platform.

as far as I know you only get the MAC on Apple devices when you have connected. data security!
