Requirements for WMS sources

Looking at editor-layer-index, of two very similar WMS imagery sources from the same provider one works in EveryDoor and one doesn't.

• the Geoportal standard-resolution aerial imagery works
• the Geoportal high-resolution aerial imagery has nothing displayed except for the name of the source / copyright in the bottom right corner

There are two main differences between these sources:

• the latter doesn't have several projections available or defined, including EPSG:3857
• the latter doesn't have a custom user agent specified

Can any of these differences be the explanation, why the latter WMS layer doesn't work in the app?

Brief analysis indicates EveryDoor requires either EPSG:4326 or EPSG:3857... So could it be the user agent string?
