Describe the bug

  • YunoHost's diagnosis tool complains about ports 1900 and 7359, both regarding Jellyfin.
  • The issue seems to be present since ~29th July, 2024.
  • Android TV client cannot connect to the server, complains about SSL handshake and ports 8096 and 8920.

Context

  • Hardware: Raspberry Pi at home
  • YunoHost version: 12.0.3 beta
  • I have access to my server: Through SSH and through the webadmin
  • Are you in a special context or did you perform some particular tweaking on your YunoHost instance?: no (boots from external drive?)
  • Using, or trying to install package version/branch: 10.9.9~ynh2

Steps to reproduce

  • When opening a Jellyfin client, the client sees the local server, but can't connect to it when tapped. One must type the whole URL on the client in order to be able to connect to the server.
  • This workaround works for pc browser, iOS and Android clients, but Android TV client is unable to connect, neither via discovered server nor typed URL. Android TV client shows three errors: SSL handshake, port 8096 and port 8920 (even after adding them to the firewall by hand).

(TLD where Jellyfin server is installed has valid Let's Encrypt SSL)

Expected behavior

All clients to be able to connect to the server without issue.

I get diagnostic errors about these ports as well, on a yunohost hosted on a dedicated server.

I've got this problem too, it's hard to know where the error is, on the Yuno firewall side?

Here I have the same problem. I cannot access the Jellyfin server through any apps (iOS, Android or FireTV)
