Description
When I try to run any project in the 2024.11 beta, even a fresh blank project, it successfully prepares the project to run but Runner.exe pops up an error dialog:
"Runner.exe - Entry Point Not Found
The procedure entry point MFCreateDXGIDeviceManager could not be located in the dynamic link library MFPlat.DLL"
From what I found online, MFPlat.DLL is part of the Windows Media Features package. I have this feature enabled - I am not running an "N" edition of Windows that lacks it, and the feature and all components are checked in the Windows Features control panel. mfplat.dll exists as a file within my System32 folder.
I am running a system that meets the requirements listed on gamemaker.io - Windows 7 SP1, DirectX 11 installed. GameMaker folders and .exes are granted exceptions in Microsoft Security Essentials and allowed in Windows Firewall. Although I found that MFCreateDXGIDeviceManager requires Windows 8 at minimum, I have not seen it stated that GameMaker' system requirements are changing in version 2024.11.
I can run projects from IDE 2024.800.0.618 / Runtime 2024.800.0.642.
Steps To Reproduce
Create new blank project.
Try to run.
Receive error message.
