==== Kodi Plugin für MediathekView ====
Generelle Informationen:
Plugin zum Abfragen der öffentlichen deutschen Mediatheken.
Dafür werden entweder einzelne Abfragen an MediathekViewWeb.de gesendet (Variante A)
oder der MediathekView-Datensatz komplett heruntergeladen
und lokal durchsucht (Variante B).
Zielstellungen waren
• eine zügige Bedienbarkeit per Fernbedienung und
• ein so geringer Ressourcenverbrauch, dass es auch auf dem RaspberryPi 1
genutzt werden kann. (Die Erstellung des kompletten Indexes dauert dort ca. 1-2 Minuten.)
Aufgrund des letzten Punktes wird die meiste Arbeit bei Variante B durch
ein natives CLI-Programm (simple_mediathek) im Hintergrund ausgeführt.
D.h. das Plugin muss im Unterschied zu den meisten anderen Kodi-Plugins für
das Zielsystem kompiliert werden!
Der Speicherverbrauch liegt während des Updates des Datensatzes
ungefähr bei 25MB (zzgl. Overhead von wget und xz)
Binaries für x86_64 und armv6l (für RPi1 bis RPi3) liegen vorkompiliert dabei.
Sofern nur die Variante A genutzt werden soll, kann auf das Kompilieren des Plugins
verzichtet werden.
Abhängigkeiten:
cmake, zip, gcc
Kompilieren:
1. Dieses Repository lokal klonen und in einem Terminal in das Verzeichnis wechseln.
2. Mit 'make native' das Binary kompilieren. Dabei wird neben dem Programm außerdem
die Kompressions-Bibliothek libbrotli erstellt..
3. Mit 'make addon' das Addon-Archiv erstellen.
Danach befindet sich im übergeordnetem Verzeichnis die Datei
'plugin.video.simple_mediathek_de.zip', welche dann in Kodi installiert werden kann.

Installation:
Variante A) Im Addon-Browser von Kodi kann das Addon über 'Aus ZIP-Datei installieren'
ausgewählt werden.
Bei neueren Kodi-Versionen (ab Krypton, 17.0) muss dazu allerdings erst
das Installieren von Addons aus unbekannten Quellen erlaubt werden.
(Unter Einstellungen>System>Addons)
Variante B) Das Addon kann auch manuell ins Addon-Verzeichnis .kodi/addons entpackt
werden. Danach muss die Addon-Liste aktualisiert, oder Kodi neu gestartet, werden.
Die Position des .kodi-Verzeichnisses kann variieren.
Der Standard-Pfad lautet $HOME/.kodi, wobei
$HOME=/storage auf OpenELEC/LibreELEC, und
$HOME=/home/osmc bei OSMC.
Beispielablauf:.
cd $HOME/.kodi/addons
[...]
unzip plugin.video.simple_mediathek.zip
kodi-send -a "UpdateLocalAddons"

Hinweise zur Nutzung mit OSMC:
Eventuell muss das Tool 'xz' nachinstalliert werden: sudo apt-get install xz-utils.
Hinweise zur Nutzung auf dem RPi 1:
Das periodische Neuzeichnen der Kodi-GUI verbraucht auf dem RPi1
erhebliche Ressourcen. Man kann keinen genauen Wert angeben, da
dies vom verwendeten Skin abhängt. Im Leerlauf kann man von 20%-40% ausgehen
und Laufschriften können es auf 100% erhöhen.
Um den Update-Prozess zu beschleunigen kann man die Option
„(Experimentell/Für RPi 1) Addon pausiert Kodi-Prozess“ aktivieren.
Aufgrund einiger Seiteneffekte (Unterbrechung der Wiedergabe) ist die Option
nicht standardmäßig aktiviert.
