It makes me sad when I type in a username and it recommends someone else because the list is sorted alphabetically.

Example: This is particularly problematic with first-name usernames. Say my username was "bill" and my full name was "Bill H...". If I typed "bill" in the "Send love to" field, a user with the full name of "Bill A..." would show up before me in the list.

Moving exact user name matches to the top of the list seems like a reasonable design decision because you're less likely to actually look at the autocomplete list if you're typing a fully unique identifier.

Why do you need autocomplete if you're typing in a full username, you might ask? Well, autocomplete on Love Machine also adds a comma and space after usernames it autocompletes, making it a convenient time-saver when typing more than one name!
