I have one already but I haven't really (reviewing code myself) been adhearing to it all the time ... both "issues" need to be addressed.

I also feel that i need to figure out what is going to happen with say Flatpak or Snap versions of apps and where I am storing that info.

My idea for a program now is

  1. Native from default repos
  2. (If Ubuntu base) PPA from OFFICIAL source or at LEAST supported by the official developer
  3. Third party such as Snap, Flatpak, or AppImage when needed

  • Template "System" for software installs
  • better organizing of what to do when downloading via github (packages vs themes/icon packs do matter)

i think i need a set in "stone" plan for say third party stuff ... example if there are native packages for a github based theme that hasn't been updated that I can leave the native install ... HOWEVER if the theme is downloaded via github ... "after x-time of not being maintained" (or no commits for x-days/weeks/months ...) .. then drop the github download

Idea: not sure if this will work (if Github does anything unexpected i mean) but putting dev related markdown wiki pages into a "dev" folder for organization reasons, seems like a good idea
