What problem does this address?

When I delete navigation using browse mode, the list updates:

However the list in the navigation block itself does not:

Note: This is the case even if you reload the page.

What is your proposed solution?

We should make sure these two lists are always in sync.

This is actually not a problem, it's just that this issue was confusing me: #51422
