Describe the bug
Create a block of paragraph text.
Write some text into it.

Hit the enter key.

Creates a new paragraph block but the previous block as a major portion of text (the later half of text) removed.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Create a block of paragraph text.
Write some text into it.

Hit the enter key.

Creates a new paragraph block but the previous block as a major portion of text (the later half of text) removed.

Expected behavior
I expected the text to not get deleted.
