Install fail on MacOS 11.1 (Big Sur)

I have already successfully installed (and activated) wolframscript. After cloning this repository I run the command ./configure-jupyter.wls add from my shell I get the following response:

sh: /WolframKernel: No such file or directory

Then the program just hangs there indefinitely. Is this a known issue / is there a known solution?

Same problem for me. Installation works fine, but "no such file or directory" error message when looking for WolframKernel. The Kernel path is unidentified in the system. I tried to add this by adding the following to my .profile:

export WOLFRAM_PATH=/Applications/Wolfram\ Engine.app/Contents/Resources/Wolfram\ Player.app/Contents/MacOS/
export PATH="$WOLFRAM_PATH:$PATH"

But this didn't fix the issue.
