Is there a cheaper alternative for the Saleae Logic Pro 8 hardware used?

Saleae has the cheaper model (Logic 8). It has only a 100 MS/s sample rate, which probably is not enough. However, this depends entirely on the SPI bus speed.

I'm currently thinking to implement this also for the iCEBreaker FPGA board.

Nice, I have also been thinking about implementing this for an ICEBreaker. Are you already working on it?

Like @Henkru mentioned Saleae has a cheaper model which captures at 100 MS/s which is not sufficient in most cases. Found it out the hard way after quite some debugging. Same setup with a Saleae Pro instantly fixed this :)
