Ranked matches freeze before roundstart

When I play with the mod on and i start a ranked match from training mode, sometimes the match doesn't start. It gets past the fighter intros but then it just stays at the gameplay screen with both characters just standing there and "round 1 . . . Fight!" never appears on screen and i just have to close the game
