Students don't know about or don't use wincpy update. However they do use wincpy start on a regular basis. Perhaps make start run update as well. Keeping students up to date when needed

I don't like the idea of automatically (or opt-out) modifying an installed program on a user's computer, even if they are beginners to the CLI and such.
I'd prefer to just show a hint message when an update is available. This would also be consistent with other CLI programs -- Wincpy may be one of the first few they ever use -- and set the expectation that these tools need to be manually updated sometimes.
There are plans to move to a Web IDE (like REPL.it) in the near future, what this means for how we use wincpy is not clear. But for now let's not invest time developing new features for a tool we're not sure we'll keep using.
