As part of the video platform expansion for v3 development, Images will receive an expansion as well.
Repository: https://github.com/WaterMediaTeam/decoders

Formats to support:

  • TIFF
  • APNG (PNG++)
  • GIF (Some compressions)
  • WEBP
  • ICO
  • RAW
  • PDF

HEIF / HEIC is not even planned because fuck apple
