I have checked - age restricted videos from youtube cannot be played without logging in

Haven’t looked at what the new pipe solution is, but I believe YouTube restricts this server-side, as authentication is required to use something like ytdl with age restricted videos in general.

I can confirm that in NewPipe, after enabling the option to watch restricted videos, it works well.

Also, NewPipe don't have option to login to your account (yet), so, you can watch restricted videos in NewPipe without login.

For this reason, I suggest that we leave it up to the community (or one of our devs) to make an independent plugin for the app, not something that is built-in stock.
